The Washington County Police Office confirmed that two people were killed after a shooting incident during the night outside a FedEx facility in Mahtomedi, Minnesota.
According to the sheriff’s office, the caller reported two unresponsive people outside the FedEx facility at 7 Long Lake Road at 2:26 am.
The responding MPs found two men. One of them has already been announced dead, while MPs have implemented measures to save the other man’s life. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The sheriff identified these men as David Peterson, 49, of Blaine, Minnesota, and Jimmy Wilmon, 58, of Fulton, Mississippi.
Pistol was recovered from the scene.
The sheriff’s office is not looking for any suspects, and there is no current threat to public safety.
