A man and a woman killed in Massachusetts shooting


Two people were killed after a shooting in Charlton, Massachusetts, according to Worcester County Attorney Joseph Early, Jr.

Charlton Police and EMS responded to the 911 call around 7:15 pm. At 28 Southbridge Street, the DA office said in a statement

Police were told that a married couple was fighting in their bedroom. When the first responders arrived, the DA said, they found a dead man from wounds apparently shot and a woman with multiple gunshot wounds. She later died of her wounds.

Their names are withheld until family members are notified.

The shooting is under investigation.
