A woman was charged with gunfire from Chicago Police in the Westside City of four felonies for allegedly aiming a pistol at the officers.
Chicago Police said Keshaona Davidson, 20, faces three counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a criminal.
Davidson was sitting in an illegally parked car around 3:30 pm. Police said.
“The concern began to display the characteristics of an armed person. Shortly thereafter, officers noticed a female armed with a pistol, which led to an armed confrontation between the police and the suspect,” the police said in a statement.
Police said Davidson allegedly pointed her pistol. Officers opened fire and hit Davidson multiple times. She was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police said they found a weapon at the scene.
