A man and a woman were found shot dead inside an apartment in what appeared to be murder and suicide, according to Texas City Police.
Officers returned fire around 9:30 a.m. at the Lakeview Apartments.
Investigators said it is not known what kind of relationship the two have. The identities have not been released.
The shooting is under investigation.
