Four people were killed and several others wounded in what the police described as a “mass shooting” in Fresno, California.
The shooting took place around 6 pm. In a house near the junction of olives and plums in southeast Fresno. When the officers arrived at the scene, they said that several victims had been found in the backyard of the house.
“What we found is that many people died in the backyard, and we have many shooting victims,” said Lt. Bill Dooley, of the Fresno Police Department.
Police say at least 10 people were shot and four killed. The other victims were taken to a local hospital, some of them in critical condition.
About 35 people were in the house watching football during a family gathering when the shots were heard, according to Vice President Michael Reed.
Reed said the gunman or gunmen advanced on foot and infiltrated the backyard and opened fire. Then the suspects fled the scene. It was not immediately possible to describe the suspect or the suspect with the description of the vehicle.
“Thank God no child was injured, because there were many children and women at the party. At the moment, all 10 victims, whether deceased or not, were Asian males between the ages of 25 to 30 groups,” Red said Night Sunday.
There is no evidence that the gunman knew the victims. The police were roaming the neighborhood and receiving statements from those attending the party
