WALDRON, Ark. (AP) — A woman has been found dead inside a pickup truck in western Arkansas and is believed to be a victim of homicide, according to Arkansas State Police.
A man who was reportedly seen driving the truck is being questioned about the case, according to a state police news release.
The body of Brehana Lee Duran, 24, of Booneville was found in the passenger seat of the truck near Waldron, about 100 miles (161 kilometers) west of Little Rock shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday by Scott County deputies investigating reports of gunfire in the area.
The release does not list a suspected cause of death and says the body is being sent to the state crime laboratory to determine the manner and cause of death.
