
A 12-year-old girl and an adult were shot and killed early in the morning in Phoenix.
Neighbors reported that they heard the gunfire around 2 a.m. Police say two 12-year-olds, Mleih Ellis, were sitting in a car in the driveway when one of them passed by and shot them.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a man leaving the area in a light-colored car afterwards.
Officers say 31-year-old Meliah Ellis and Angela Leiner were killed in the shooting.
The third victim, a 33-year-old woman, was hospitalized and remains in a very critical condition. Police continue to gather evidence and investigate the fatal accident.
