A 10-year-old girl was killed and five other children were injured after a crash on Highway 10 near Tonopah, Arizona west of Phoenix.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said that a three car crash on January 18 caused one of the vehicles to capsize in the average highway.
They said that the six children inside the car were taken out.
The name of the killed girl was not revealed immediately.
DPS officials said the affected children were between the ages of 10 and 14.
They were airlifted to a hospital in the Phoenix area with serious injuries.
It is unclear if all six children are members of the same family.
Authorities said the cause of the collision is under investigation.
