A 28-year-old man was shot dead while working in his car in the West Side of Chicago
Chicago police said in a statement that gunmen got out of a car at around 7:50 a.m. and confronted the man in Building 1300 on South Springfield Street.
The police said they shot him several times and drove off.
Police said the man was unresponsive when the officers arrived. He was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not disclosed details of his death.
The police have not announced the arrest.
