A teenage man killed in the city of Baker after a motorcycle collides with a deer


A baker man and a teenager were killed when their motorbike collided with a deer in Ocalusa County.

It happened on Charlie Day Road in Baker at about 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says the motorcycle was approaching the Galliver Cutoff when a deer ran its way.

The accident report says the 53-year-old and the 14-year-old boy were thrown from the motorcycle. After that, FHP says they were hit by a truck.

They died at the scene.

FHP no longer publishes the names of those involved in traffic accidents.
