Authorities said one man was killed and three others were injured after a brawl that broke out in gunfire during a birthday celebration in southwest Georgia.
Jamie Steinberg, the special agent in charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in Thomasville, said the violence erupted after 2 a.m. at a restaurant that was hosting a private birthday party.
Steinberg told the Multrey Observer that the row led to the shooting. A man was shot dead and two others underwent surgery after being wounded. He said that a third person was injured after being hit by a car while fleeing the restaurant.
Colgate County pathologist, Verlaine Brook, determined that the person who was killed was 25-year-old Roderick Moore from Moultrie.
The authorities did not immediately announce any arrests.
