A plane crash in Lyon’s home kills 3

According to the Oakland County Police Office, three people were killed after a plane collided with a house in the town of Lyon.

Lyon Township Fire Department and other crews responded to the accident at 57,000 Block Dakota Drive.

It is confirmed that the pilot is the President of the Home Builders Association David S. Combo and that the two passengers are his wife and son.

The family was returning home from Canton, Georgia as they were only a half-mile from their destination to Oakland Southwest Airport according to an HBA press release.

Neighbors say everyone left the house safely.

The authorities say the accident is still under investigation.
