A man was sentenced to eight years in prison for rape and repeated sexual assault on her.

The child’s mother told the Central Criminal Court that she would not forgive the 49-year-old.

He pleaded guilty to child rape orally and nine counts of sexual assault at her grandmother’s home and pleaded guilty to child sexual exploitation by viewing porn DVDs.

The offense occurred in a county in Munster. Judge Michelle White ordered that nothing more specific be published about the site.

The court heard that the child’s parents separated and returned to his mother’s house. He had unsupervised access to the girl in this house and during these visits he was shown the pornographic film before she was raped orally.

She later told Garditch that he grabbed her hair and pulled her head down to the point that she gagged. The sexual assaults included digital penetration on numerous occasions as well as forcing her to masturbate.

In a victim impact statement, the mother told the court that she was completely shocked and shocked when her daughter burst into tears and told her what her father had done.

She said her family’s life changed forever that day. Looking back, she said, she remembers how her daughter was often in bad shape and irritable when she returned from her father’s house.

“My heart is broken and I feel guilty that I didn’t see what was happening,” she wrote.

She said her daughter, now 12, was fine some days, but on other days she was angry, crying, or just sat staring at space.

Brendan Grayhan, an advocate, said his client has addiction problems, including alcohol, gambling, prescription drugs and other substances.

The man made a full confession. He was charged, did not apply for bail, and pleaded guilty.

Mr. Jerihan said his client did all this to avoid inflicting further trauma on his daughter by forcing her to wait or worry about the possibility of preparing for trial.

He said the man now wants to apologize to the child and all those who were hurt by his actions.

Judge White suspended the last two years of his 10-year prison sentence on the condition that he participate in the evaluation of the treatment program for sex offenders.
