Two people have died after a plane crash in Poinsett County, Ark, according to Sheriff Kevin Mulder.

Poinsett County Dispatch Center received a call about the accident in Northwest Poinsett County at 9:44 a.m.

Emergency responders discovered a twin-engine plane in a field off Flagg Slough Road, according to Mulder.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane was on fire.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident.

NTSB said via Twitter that the Hawker-Beechcraft G58 had crashed at Weiner, Ark.

The bodies were sent to the Little Rock Medical Examination Office
