Two people killed after a fatal US 101 car collision at Sequim, Washington
Washington State Soldiers responded to the incident around 2:30 PM. On US 101 and milepost 267, near Happy Valley Road. The soldiers said on Twitter that the vehicles collided head-on after one of them crossed the center line.
WSP officials said that two people who were inside a vehicle died at the crash site. The other two people in the second car were airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The area was closed for several hours due to the accident, but was reopened.
The identity of the occupants of the car was not revealed. WSP is under investigation.
