Stone County Police Chief said there were deaths caused by the capsizing and sinking of the boat that was carrying 31 people, including children.
Missouri state authorities said that a tourist boat capsized in a lake with more than 30 people on board, in an accident that caused many injuries.
Police confirmed that at least 8 people drowned when the boat capsized, in light of stormy weather in a lake in Missouri, noting that divers were combing the place in search of other potential victims.
The Fire Protection Department in the Southern Stone County of the state, through its Twitter account, stated that a number of people were taken to the hospital after the accident involving the Raid the Ducks in Table Rock Lake, in the county near the city of Branson.
