4 dead were discovered in Mississippi after not coming to work

Four people are found dead after the Lauderdale County Police Department received several reports of people not showing up for work

Sheriff’s department dispatchers were unable to divulge any information to Clarion Ledger about the case, citing an ongoing investigation. An attempt to reach Lauderdale-Coroner County, Clayton-Kobler to obtain information on the victims was unsuccessful.

Three bodies were discovered in a house on Geoffrey Acres Road. The other was found in a Mississippi 19 South home in the Whynot community.

The deputies found two women and a man in one place around one in the afternoon. And another woman in the other.

A person believed to be a suspect in the deaths is found dead after a chase on Highway 59 in Lamar County, which appears to have ended in Pearl River County near the Lumberton exit.

Master Sergeant. Chase Elkins, public affairs supervisor for the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation in the Southern District, said MBI is still investigating scenes in Pearl River and Lauderdale counties, so details are limited.

The suspect died of his gunshot wounds.
