Authorities say a South Florida man shot his wife and mother-in-law before killing himself while his three children were at home.
The Broward County sheriff’s office got a phone call about the shooting early.
Once the MPs got home in Tamarak, they were able to help the children, ages 4, 8 and 11, out of the house through their bedroom window.
The sheriff’s office says in a press release that the Special Rapid Response Team (SWAT) that entered the house found Claude Silvern and a dead woman.
Another seriously injured woman was found at home, but her death was declared in hospital.
