Authorities said a bicyclist died after colliding with a car in East County.
The accident happened on Mission Gorge Road and Fanita Drive just before 4 pm. The San Diego County Police Department said the cyclist died of injuries sustained in the accident. Representatives said the driver stopped at the scene, cooperating.
