Two men were killed after a shooting occurred as a group gathered in a Louisiana neighborhood to film a rap video, according to authorities.
Baton Rouge Police were called to the scene where they found D’Andre Mills, 25, and Landon Johnson, 31, shot and wounded, police spokesman Sgt. L’Jean McKneely said Thursday.
The victims were taken to hospital, where they later died.
Police said a group was filming a rap music video in a Baton Rouge neighborhood when the shooting happened. Neighbors said more than a dozen people had gathered on their streets, but the group dispersed before police arrived, The Advocate reported.
“Sadly, no one was left at the scene,” the newspaper quoted McNeely as saying. “Zero witnesses.”
Police did not say whether the two victims were involved in filming the music video.
The authorities were continuing to investigate.
