New York Police published a video clip showing a man stealing $ 1.6 million in gold, in one of the strangest robberies, it seems.
Surveillance cameras documented the lucky thief as he passed by an armored truck parked near a shopping mall on a busy street in Manhattan.
And after the thief noticed the absence of the crew of the truck transporting money and precious metals, he headed to the back of the cargo, where he found no difficulty in stealing one of the containers.
Police reported that the stolen package contained 39 kg of gold bars, valued at about $ 1.6 million.
Police said the man was between 50 and 60 years old and had fled to Florida
