A prisoner managed to seize from his cell a sum of one million dollars in addition to buying luxurious homes and luxury cars, using his wife’s bank account to carry out money transfers.
The prisoner, sentenced to 24 years in prison, was arrested in 2012 while he was a student in Malaysia.
However, Hope Olusegun, a Nigerian, was able from inside his cell to create a great fortune, using the network of accomplices and corrupt officials who ran the prison.
