The identities of the two men killed in a mobile home fire were revealed in early December.
David Estridge, 56, and Ron Emery, 50, died in a fire, according to the Indiana Marshall Firefighting Office.
Firefighters were called to the home at the 4200 complex of Riley Pike around 1:45 that morning. The caravan caught fire when they arrived.
A 39-year-old man told investigators he woke up to smoke in the caravan and shoot out on the balcony, according to a press release from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
He managed to escape with minor scratches and smoke inhalation and were treated at the scene.
Investigators say the only source of heat in the home is a wood stove.
The Indiana State Fire Brigade Office says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
