A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Bremerton in Washington state, according to the Pacific Northwest Earthquake Network.
The network says it happened around 8:30 a.m. about three miles from Bremerton from a depth of about 13 miles. It was approximately 11 miles from Seattle.
There have been some comments on social media indicating an earthquake was felt in the Seattle-Tacoma area, although this has not been confirmed. Washington Emergency Management officials ask people who have felt them to report what they’ve been through.
