Police are investigating a quadruple shooting incident during the night, in which two people were injured and two others were killed.
Police responded to the 1100 block from S. Ruby Street at around 1:37 am to reports of one person carrying a pistol and three people shot.
When the authorities arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before 2 a.m.
Another 25-year-old man had a single shot in the chest and was taken to Ben-Presbyterian Hospital. He died shortly after two in the morning.
A 30-year-old woman was shot in the chest and is listed in stable condition.
Later, a fourth victim sustained four wounds to the head, chest, abdomen and right hand. The victim, a 24-year-old man, is in stable condition.
No weapon was found, and no one was arrested. This investigation is active and ongoing with the Homicide Unit.
