Police said two victims were taken to hospital early this morning after a shooting near downtown Pensacola.
The shooting occurred around 2:45 a.m. in the Jefferson Township and Intendencia Street.
The Pensacola Police Department says the officers were in the area on foot patrol when the shooting occurred and responded immediately.
Officers found the two victims with non-life-threatening injuries. PPD says they have been taken to local hospitals for treatment. Police added that a car believed to be involved in the shooting had left the scene. The suspects are unknown at this time.
Police say the shooting is under investigation.
