A 14-year-old girl faces charges of aggravated assault and felony murder by stabbing an 11-year-old boy in Dawson County.
Dawson County lawmakers responded to reports of a home stabbing incident late and found the boy suffering multiple stabs, said Sheriff Jeff Johnson.
Johnson declined to comment on the relationship between the boy and the girl, but said the girl would be charged as an adult and detained without bail. Her name was not disclosed.
The investigation will be led by the Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation with assistance from Dawson County Prosecutors.
