10 people, including a number of school students, were killed in a collision in California.
Police said a bus carrying dozens of students on a trip north of the US state collided with a truck on a road.
Police confirmed that the dead were 5 students, 3 supervisors and the bus driver, in addition to the driver of the truck belonging to the FedEx shipping company.
The police spokeswoman added that the truck driver lost control and bulldozed a private car before colliding with the bus, killing 10 and wounding more than 30 others with various injuries.
The spokeswoman explained that 34 wounded were transported by ground and air ambulance to a number of neighboring hospitals, according to the degree of injury they were exposed to, adding that most of the injuries were fractures and cut wounds.
