The Minnesota State Patrol says a small plane made a suspected emergency landing on Interstate 35W near New Brighton.
According to officials, the single-engine Pelanka Viking plane made an unexpected landing before 9:30 pm. On the northbound lanes near Highway 694.
Authorities say the aircraft crashed into another vehicle that was on the I-35W, but there were no casualties in the accident. Northbound 35W is currently closed on Ramsey County Road E2 for a “prolonged period of time” as officials continue to investigate.
