One person was killed and 11 others were injured, in a shooting, which occurred in a building in downtown Waterloo, Iowa.
“One person died of his wounds,” city police chief Joel Fitzgerald said in a press conference broadcast on local television channels.
Fitzgerald added, “11 others were wounded, including eight with live bullets.” He stated that one of the injured was in critical condition.
The police chief also indicated that the cause of the shooting is due to a dispute in the building, where “members of motorcycle clubs” usually gather.
Fitzgerald said the investigation is underway, and the statements of many witnesses are being recorded.
