Two minors were killed and four others injured after a fire broke out overnight at a residence in Grays Ferry.
Firefighting crews were called to Block 1500 from South 30th Street around 1:15 a.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls to set fire to an apartment house
Crews arrived to find thick smoke and fire from the building.
Officials say two minors were killed. A third event was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Three adults were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The authorities did not have any details about any of the victims.
The firefighting crews worked hard and were able to bring the fire under control by two in the morning.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
