A woman dies after being hit by a car in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The accident occurred around 6 pm. Near George West Street and South Stryker Avenue, according to the Saint Paul Police Department.
Police said a woman in her 30s fell to the ground in the middle of the road. Good Samaritans stopped to help the woman who had stopped to help. While they were helping the woman, a car approached. The car got the green light, and as it approached, witnesses said it did not appear to be slowing down.
The car did not slow down and crashed into the victim on the road. The driver, a 16-year-old boy, stopped the car and called 911.
Paramedics took the victim to the district hospital, where she later died. Her identity has not been released.
The 16-year-old is cooperating with the police and preliminary investigations show that he has no signs of a disability.
