Cincinnati Police are investigating the active shooter at a bank in downtown Cincinnati, according to the City Police Department.
According to a tweet from the Cincinnati Police Department, the energetic firing officer involved fell into the foyer and load on Third Bank’s pier in downtown Cincinnati.
At around 11 a.m., the administration said that three people in addition to the suspect had died. Five others were taken to Cincinnati Hospital for treatment.
The situation appeared to be under control just before 10 a.m. EST on Thursday, but police said they were still investigating.
An officer at the scene said that at least two people, and possibly more, had been shot. It was not immediately clear if the shooter was one of them.
Police said they were still combing the building, but it was safe. They also reported that the suspect was in custody.
