Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting incident that killed a man in front of the Town Hall in downtown.
It happened at 15:00 and Market Streets around 6:30 PM.
According to police, the 20-year-old was sitting on a yellow dirt bike when a man in a white hatchback pulled it over and shot him in the face, neck, and chest during a chase. The victim died in the hospital.
Investigators say at least 11 rounds were fired from a semi-automatic weapon.
The shooting was filmed on camera.
“There are many other cameras. There are real-time police cameras in the area and there are many other companies in the area that have cameras. We are pretty sure we’ll get extra angles and extra recordings,” Inspector Scott Small said.
Police are looking for a gunman, described as being between 5, 6, 5, and 9 feet, who wore blue jeans and white sneakers.
