Pensacola, Fl
Philadelphia Police said they have arrested and charged a man with raping a teenager with special needs at a South Philadelphia resort.
The 32-year-old Ronald Coleman was charged with rape, sexual assault, illegal self-restraint, wrongful imprisonment and related crimes. Coleman, a resident of Kensington, was arrested.
Police say Coleman sexually assaulted an 18-year-old with special needs inside the registration center at Stadium de Silvestro.
Coleman is a city employee who works as a seasonal maintenance worker. Parents, people using the stadium at 15 o’clock and Maurice were angry at the alleged assault.
An Information Service spokeswoman said all employees must pass a background check that includes criminal investigations, FBI and child abuse inquiries. They did not comment on reports that Coleman had been working here for only three weeks.
Officials say Coleman’s background has been checked. There are more than ten surveillance cameras at the property.
