A 14-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a car while riding a bike on a highway in Williamson County.
It happened around 8:30 pm. On the SH 29.
A Department of Public Safety spokesman said the 2010 Toyota Prius was traveling east in the outer lane when it caught a bicyclist traveling east.
DPS said the teen had no bike lights and was on an unlit section of the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, no charges have been filed.
