Authorities say a 4-year-old girl has been injured multiple times during a fatal double shooting in Philadelphia.
Officers from Philadelphia’s 25th District to Block 1100 on West Somerset Street at around 11:30 a.m. responded to reports of gunfire.
Investigators say that a 4-year-old girl was shot in the chest and shoulder and twice in the left arm. Police took her to St. Christopher’s Hospital and placed her in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old man was taken to Temple Hospital by paramedics with gunshot wounds in the neck and buttocks. He was pronounced dead shortly after noon.
No arrests were reported. Police did not say the reason for the shooting.
