A 108-year-old cubs fan died of a happy woman less than a week after the Chicago Cubs won the World Series.
Maple Ball died in Covenant Village in Northbrook, the facility reported Friday.
The ball was born in 1908, and the last time the Cub won was before this year. She was known as one of the oldest surviving fans of the team.
According to Tribune, Ball only went to one game at Wrigley Field and it wasn’t until she was 90 years old.
