Sources said that Rapper Mo 3 was shot dead on a Dallas highway.
The rapper, whose real name is Melvin Noble, was killed in the middle of the day in an accident north of Interstate 35 near Clarendon Drive.
Dallas police refused to publicly confirm that the 28-year-old rapper was killed in the shooting, but released an account of the incident.
Police said he was in a car on the I-35 shortly before noon when a suspect approached the Mo3.
The two men stopped their car, got off the victim and started running, but he was hit several times on the highway.
A pedestrian was also injured in another car. Police say this person was not seriously injured.
Police are still looking for the shooter for the Dallas-based rapper.
A video circulating on social media claims to show Mo3 lying on the highway while someone tries to help him after he is shot.
Mo3 previously said he was the victim of a non-fatal shooting in 2019.
Mo3’s most successful was “Errybody (Remix)” in collaboration with Boosie Badazz.
