Police arrested three teenagers for raping a Gwinnett County mother in front of her two children last month.
According to the police report, the victim arrived at her home from work with her two children shortly before 3 am and found two armed men inside her home.
The woman told police that the two intruders, identified by police as 17-year-old Francisco Valencia and 19-year-old Joso Ramirez, hit her multiple times with their stun guns and pushed her into the bedroom. She tried to resist them, and walked toward her children, according to the police report. This is when one of the attackers threw two pots of boiling water on it.
The police report said the other man pushed the mother into the bedroom, forced her to take off her clothes, and raped her. Meanwhile, police said the suspect, who threw boiling water, looted the house.
The woman’s youngest child was sitting in a car seat near the kitchen during the attack, and her other child followed her into the bedroom and witnessed the sexual assault.
The police report said the suspects left the house through the front door and the woman called 911.
Investigators said the mother suffered burns on her neck, left shoulder and left arm. She was transferred to the Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth.
The victim told police that her jewelry box and school ID were among the items taken from the home. She also said that a German Shepherd puppy is missing. The dog was on the back porch during the attack.
Police arrested Valencia and Ramirez, as well as an unidentified 15-year-old woman. They all face a number of charges, including rape, aggravated sodomy, kidnapping, housebreaking, aggravated beatings, and cruelty to children.
A Valencia hearing has been scheduled for the first time. Ramirez will appear before a judge.
The suspects are being held at the Gwinnett County Jail
