Seven people died in four separate accidents overnight in Fort Worth. They spread across the city.
Police said two racing cars crashed early this morning on Racing Road near Chisholm Trail Parkway in the far south of Fort Worth. Three people died in that accident.
A pickup truck driver also died after colliding with a metal pole on Interstate 30 at Eastchies Parkway in East Fort Worth. The wreckage of the accident landed on the highway, causing several minor accidents.
Two more people died in a three-car accident on Southeast Loop 820 and Campus Drive in South Fort Worth. Two others involved in the accident were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A motorcyclist died in a crash on Camp Boy Road in West Fort Worth at around 3 a.m. She was said to be speeding when she hit the pavement and crashed.
