An adult is killed in a runaway collision in North Austin.
EMS, fire and police units responded to a report of a rudimentary car accident at the intersection of Burnet Road and Research Street after 7:30 PM. night.
An adult died at the scene of the accident. APD says the accident was a hit-and-run accident, with a red vehicle continuing north on Burnet Road.
Drivers should expect heavy road closures and traffic delays while investigators are in the area.
