A man raped his 98-year-old grandmother and his two-year-old neighbor’s baby just months after they were released from prison.
His cousin Samuel found the man, from Moranga County, at his grandmother’s house after he heard a scream coming from inside.
According to Nairobi News, the 36-year-old was released from prison a few months ago after being jailed for having sex with a cow. When Samuel went to investigate the house, the father hit him in the face and left him unconscious on the floor.
He then took his neighbor’s two-year-old daughter to a nearby farm and raped her before fleeing the scene.
Neighbors found her soon after, stained with blood, and her parents took her to the hospital. When Samuel regained consciousness after a few minutes, he called the police after finding the old woman in shock in her bed and a man’s chase for the suspect was launched.
He has since been arrested and is currently being held at Nyakinja Police Station.
