Authorities said a 61-year-old man entered a street in San Ysidro, tripped and fell, ran over by an SUV and was killed.
The man had just left a company on E San Ysidro Street near Virginia Street at around 2 p.m. Friday, when he reached the street, he stumbled and fell on his face first.
Officer Robert Hymes of the San Diego Police Department said he was then run over by a Cadillac Escalade as he pulled from an adjacent parking lot.
Pedestrians were not identified. No further information has been released.
