Police said a man died when a car collided with a minibus carrying several children in Phoenix.
According to Phoenix Police, the accident occurred near 19th Street and North Street just after 4 PM when a Lexus LS400 collided with a Honda minivan.
The truck driver, a 39-year-old woman, tried to turn left into Northern Avenue when she was hit by a Lexus. After an initial collision, Lexus collided with a brick wall and palm tree, shattering the passenger side of the vehicle.
Lexus driver Joseph Robles Romero, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The minivan driver was not injured. Three children inside the minibus, between the ages of 11, 8 and 4, were injured.
