As the Arlington neighborhood works to address a spike in violent crime, the Jacksonville Police Office said three men were found shot dead in a home in the community.
Police said a man died in the shooting. The other two were said to be in a life-threatening condition.
According to the censor. Forbal, together with the sheriff’s office, the three men were found shot inside a house on Mansion Road near Sandhurst Road south after 8:30 pm.
Forbal said the victims were between the ages of 33, 34 and 52. No information has been released about a suspect that the police are seeking to track down.
Shot, 10 people were shot in the area during the past week. This number brings that number to 13.
This number includes the shooting of a man in his car on Wednesday. The victim said he knew the shooter and told Christian Solidarity that he is now looking for the person who matters.
And earlier Wednesday morning, a man was killed on Jasper Avenue near the intersection of Arlington Place Road in the Woodland Acres neighborhood.
City leaders spoke of the line of violence in Arlington after a father of six children was shot dead Saturday morning while visiting his family on Oaks Plantation Drive.
This shooting came just a week after a man was killed and a 7-year-old was injured in a shooting during a youth soccer match in Arlington. Police said at the time that the two could be a father and son, but had not officially confirmed the information.
