The Austin Police Department has identified the man who was killed in a pedestrian car crash.
Police say it is around 8 pm. A white, 2015 Dodge 350 was driving south at 1100 block of Airport Street when 53-year-old Raymond Seibel, who was not in a car, attempted to cross the street in the middle of the street.
Police said that Sibel was injured while walking towards the western sidewalk line.
Dodge driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police say driver weakness did not appear to be a factor in the accident.

Officials say this is Austin’s 70th fatal traffic accident of 2020 that has resulted in 75 deaths this year. At this time in 2019, there were 67 traffic accident deaths.
