Authorities in Howard County are investigating the crash of a 54-year-old man.
KPD officers responded to a report of a car accident with casualties on 931 Americans and Jano Road around 5:54 pm.
Investigators found that a black Chevy car driven by Clarence Epron Jr., 54, of Kokomo, was driving west on Jano Road.
According to police, it collided with a Chevy car and a south-bound black Lincoln driven by Beatrice R Wright, 25, from Kirklin.
Epron was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital and later died. Police said the autopsy was still pending with the Howard County Anatomy Office.
Wright and three of the passengers in her juvenile car were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The KPD said the case is still under investigation.
