A high school graduate died of his wounds recently in Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County over the weekend.
Jason Cote, 18, was shot in the park on Saturday afternoon while sitting in the park with his girlfriend waiting for the sunset at the Old Ridge Road exit.
Pennsylvania and State Park Rangers found Cote suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of the neck and provided him with first aid before taking him to hospital. He passed away on Monday.
After the shooting, Kutt’s girlfriend notices a person standing behind a yellow gate on Old Ridge Road in an orange jacket she describes as hunting wear, according to Bucks County DA Matt Weintraub.
Cote’s father took to Facebook to announce his death Monday morning, adding that he had recently graduated from Pennridge High School and loves to walk in nature.
