Authorities say a Florida man shot a neighbor who had recently moved into the next door after a dispute.
The Lake County Police Office said in a press release on Saturday that 61-year-old Scott Curtis Rudolph has been arrested for first degree murder in the murder of Jerry Michael Stewart, also 61.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that Stuart’s wife informed lawmakers that the couple moved into the caravan park about three weeks ago. It was not clear what caused the controversy.
Authorities say Rudolph was found in a closed port area of his home, with a pistol at his feet and another nearby. They said that Rudolf confessed to the murder.
Rudolph was imprisoned without bail. It was not clear if he had a lawyer to represent him.
